History The Java ESB Suite includes the Java integration products and technology from the SeeBeyond acquisition along with other products from the Java Enterprise System. Roots in EAI and B2B integration; today focuses on service-oriented architecture (SOA), business process management (BPM) and business optimization. Roots in EAI and B2B integration; merged with Active Software in 2000; expanded to BPM space; Sept. 2006 announced plans to acquire registry/repository vendor Infravio. Roots in XML integration; launched PolarLake version 1.0, an enterprise XML platform for Java, in September 2001. Roots in DBMS with Adabas; developed Natural, a 4GL app dev environment; added integration and XML platforms; partnered with Fujitsu and IDS Scheer to deliver an SOA platform. Founded by Jan Baan, who founded the ERP software company Baan Co., and later TopTier, which was purchased by SAP. Cordys' technology is based on portal and integration technology from TopTier.
