CRM software vendor RightNow Technologies of Bozeman, Montana announced this week it has joined the Web Services Interoperability Organization (WS-I).

WS-I, which revamped its Basic Profile this week, promotes Web services interoperability across platforms, applications and different languages.

RightNow's experience with Web services extends to making data integration easy and flexible, executive Sean Forbes said in a statement.

"RightNow's participation in WS-I allows us to be on the cutting edge of integration technology, ensuring our developers continue to adopt new standards and technologies to promote interoperability," Forbes said.

RightNow focuses on customer service software, supporting several communication channels including the Web, interactive voice, e-mail, telephone and more. RightNow offers a hosted on-demand model reducing costs associated with deploying traditional CRM software.
